Methods and materials for teaching mathematical concepts (e.g., real number system, functions, mathematical induction, sequences and series, analytic Methods and materials for teaching mathematical concepts (e.g., real number system, functions, mathematical induction, sequences and series, analytic geometry, transformations, probability, topics in calculus) in the upper grades of high school; problem solving mathematical modeling; uses of technology (e.g. graphing calculators and computer software) including related social, legal and ethical issues. (Includes 25 hours fieldwork in grades 10, 11, and 12 for those with 5-9 certification seeking 7-12 certification). PREREQ: Calculus I and II.
