This course focuses on the history. organization, and effectiveness of the United States healthcare and public health system, health system governance structures, roles, responsibilities, as well as the social determinants of health, need, access and utilization. Students in this course apply the principles of strategic thinking and planning, as well as data synthesis to make decisions on behalf of the organization.
