Examination of concepts, practices, and empirical research related to leading effective teams in urban school districts through critical change processes. Areas of focus will include adaptive leadership, communication, collaboration, capacity building, and organizational culture and climate. Students will participate in 6 hours of leadership experiences in the field over the course of the semester. PREREQ: School leadership experience and/or permission of program coordinator
